Love from Aunt Leigh and a little thing called "No"

Aunt Leigh gave the girls play scarves!
They twirled...
And snuggled.

And a little bit about Sophie and Hannah's new form of communication:
They now shake their heads "no" whenever I ask a question. As is "Do you want to eat?" or "Do you want to take a nap?" They shake their heads. Now I don't ask...I tell them it's time to eat but they still shake their heads! It started with Sophie. I smelled a dirty diaper yesterday so I asked Sophie if it was her. She shook her head "no". And she was telling the truth! It was Hannah. But that didn't last long. I asked her today if she had a dirty diaper and she shook her head but she so obviously had one. Her first little white lie. Hmm.

Oh and now they have learned to mock me. I had Hannah in time out and I was telling her "No hitting!" She looked me right in the eye and making a mock angry face, shook her finger at me. It was all I could do not to laugh. And Sophie did the same thing when I told her not to touch the TV. She turned and shook her finger at me! A couple of stinkers!

Opening their Chanukah cards.

Olivia shook her finger at me just last night! We laughed, we just couldn't help it. Mine say no for everything too. I love the scarves. How fun!
