Climber Girls

At the climbing gym.
Hannah gets a little instruction from Pop Pop.
She decided she's more of a bouldering kind of girl.
Sophie on the other hand...
She's all rock climber.  That's her near the top!
Ringing the bell at the top.
 High fives all around.
 So proud of herself:)
She wanted a hug from Hannah (who was a tiny bit jealous).  You can tell be the way she's all limp in the hug.
 Sophie and her Pop Pop.
 Everyone had a great time.

Hanukkah

This year they lit the candles themselves (with much supervision from Mommy and Daddy!)

Sophie got a Batman Bat Cave and Hannah got a Cinderella dress up doll.
 Opening Nana's gifts (from Peru!)

Opa and Bubby's gift.  Hannah lost a white stuffed lamb when she was two and has been asking about it ever since.  I asked Opa if he knew where he got it and he found them and sent them to the girls.  The original one had red buttons and these didn't.  When Hannah would ask about her lamb she would say "Remember that lamb with the red buttons?"  So of course I went out and bought red buttons and put them on!
Barbie puppies that come with birth certificates and medical kits.  They love them!
Books!  Dr. Seuss for Hannah and a dinosaur for my little paleontologist (Sophie).
And a fan.  Hannah has a fan that Nana gave her and Sophie really wanted one too.
Train table from Mom Mom and Pop Pop.
Last night of Hanukkah at Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house.

Hannah's card that she decorated for Mom Mom and Pop Pop.
 Waiting patiently.
 Dinosaur puzzle for the paleontologist.
 And climbing shoes!
 Mustaches from Aunt Leigh.

 I love this picture!

Holiday Card Photo Shoot

I realized that I didn't have any good photos of the girls for holiday cards.  So I dressed them up and we headed over to the History Park in Golden for some quick pictures.  There was a lot of bribing with Halloween candy to get those smiles.  Now I know why I hire people to do this!

Sophie and the Dragon

So Sophie is really into Batman and all kinds of toys that are marketed more for boys.  I took her and Hannah to the store so I could get a better idea of what she would like for Hanukkah.  I already know what Hannah would like...anything Barbie or Disney Princess.  We were walking around the store and Hannah was trying to help by searching for "Sophie" toys.  She pulled out this dragon and said "Sophie, do you like this?"  And Sophie got really excited and said "Of course I do!"  And she played with it until we had to leave.  So Sophie.

Backlight Princesses

Just your typical trip to the mailbox.
