Sophie and Hannah's vocabulary hasn't improved too much. Hannah still uses a lot of "deedles" and "doodles". Yesterday Craig and I were showing them a book with a rooster and we said "Cockadoodle doo!' and Hannah said "Doodle, doodle, doo!". But she also says "da da" "pop pop" and "ma ma" (which she uses for both Mommy and Mom Mom). Or "maaaa maaaaa!" when she really wants me to pick her up! And she also says shoe which we will get into later.
Sophie now says "yes" and "no" and "this". As in "Sophie, do you want to eat?" "Yes!" (Sounds like yish) or "Sophie, let's go change your diaper." "No!" (Sounds like neh). And when I ask her what book she wants me to read to her, she will grab a book and say "yish" for "this". The rest of her vocabulary sounds a little like Hebrew with a lot of "cch" sounds.
And back to the shoes. Hannah has really been into shoes and hats lately. Oy vey. She always wants to put her shoes on. And if one comes loose or falls off, she makes her shoe noise "eh! eh! eh!" until I fix it or put it back on. The same goes for her hat. She has to wear a hat. Any hat will do but her favorites are the ones Bubby knit for her and Sophie. She walks around the playroom with it on all day long. Sometimes she pulls it over her eyes, wobbles around and laughs. Like I said before, she's a ham and she knows it!

One day Sophie will have a cute ponytail instead of a "sprout".
She's still super cute though even with the "sprout".

I inclination not acquiesce in on it. I think warm-hearted post. Specially the appellation attracted me to be familiar with the sound story.
