Sophie and Hannah came home from daycare singing "I look out the window. Popcorn! Popcorn! Popcorn!" It took me a while to figure out they were singing this song. So I thought it would be fun to make this craft. Except the only popcorn I had was the kind you make in the microwave and has butter on it. Buttered popcorn and craft paper just don't mix. So I improvised with crumbled tissue paper. Hannah liked it. Sophie was crabby that day and dumped the bowl of tissue paper on the floor. She finished it a few days later and this is what we ended up with. A fun and very easy craft.
It was a while between crafts because last week we all got really, really, really sick. So sick that Craig had to take off work for three days to take care of us. I decided that this craft should be something easy so I brought out the watercolors that I bought a few weeks ago. I was worried that it would all end up a big mess with the bowls of water on the floor but it actually turned out to be a lot of fun with very little mess to clean up at the end.

They did a good job.
Hannah's painted face is funny, but cute.
