What makes me smile lately...

As you can see from the post below, Sophie is all about her hat. She wears it all.the.time. Every night after she's fallen asleep I go upstairs to take it off and I set it next to her so she can have it in the morning. And while Sophie is all about hats, Hannah is all about ponytails. Not just ponytails but "ponytail up high." Meaning the top of her head. That's the only way she will wear her hair now. Oy.

Oh and I recently noticed that Sophie has been saying "shark" instead of "sharp". She was pointing to a knife on the counter and said "Shark!" I guess that's what she thought we were saying. I tried to correct her but she kept saying "shark". Cutie.

She has also been saying "remember?" Everything is "remember?" Even when it's something I don't want to remember like when Hannah got hurt a few weeks ago. Sophie says "Remember when Hannah fell? Remember? Mommy cried. Remember?" Sigh.

But she has also been a lot of fun. We were playing upstairs in her room. I was pretending to be her and she was pretending to be me. She tucked me into her bed and said goodnight. Then she instructed me to stay in bed. I cried "But I'm not tired!" She shook her finger at me and said "I can't play with you all night!" Ha ha. I've never said that to her but I guess that's what she hears. Then I start asking for things like a glass of water or to be tucked in. She thinks it's hysterical. She really gets that I'm teasing her and collapses on me in a fit of giggles.

This is such a fun age.

Sophie Bean dressed herself this morning.
Here she is sleeping on the vent. She also likes sitting on the vent to keep her tushie warm.
She wanted me to take a picture of her popsicle "to show Daddy". What a face. I love this beautiful girl so much!

I can't play with you all night!! It's funny that she said that. What a cutie. And she is beautiful. And you are such a great mother.
