Sophie and Hannah love to read. And I love reading to them. I have the best time going to the library and picking out books for them. I can't wait until they are old enough to go with me so we can pick out books together. Unfortunately that will have to wait a while. My last attempt was a FAIL. It was more "let's see how many books we can pull off the shelves when Mommy's back is turned." But I'm not giving up hope. In the meantime, here are some of our favorites:
A classic. They have had this book since they were babies and they still love it and ask for it. We actually have two of them. One is Craig's childhood book. That is the one I read to them. The other was a gift from Nana. It is getting a lot of wear and tear and love.

Hannah loves this one especially.

Another classic. Great, great book. I LOVE Mo Willems.

Did I mention how much I love Mo Willems. This one is fun for me to read. I really get into the characters!

Click Clack Moo. Or as Sophie and Hannah like to say Clack Clack Moo. Hilarious. They love it so much that I went out and bought one.

Oh, I had forgotten about the classic Mother Goose book. I had one growing up too.
We're also a Click Clack Moo house.
They look so cute "reading".
We have another of the cow books where the farmer goes on vacation and his brother takes over. The duck writes instructions for the farmer's brother to follow, like Pizza Night!
