Third Person

Hannah has this funny little quirk where she refers to herself in third person. As in "Hannah do'd it!" or "Hannah help Mommy!"

At the playground, Hannah likes to sit on the top of the slide and ask Sophie to give her a little push. She says "Sophie push Hannah?" And Sophie says "Yeah!" and walks over to give her a little push. I don't know which is cuter, that Hannah refers to herself as Hannah. Or that she likes to have Sophie give her a little push down the slide.

Hannah is also into my iPod right now. Or "phone" as she likes to call it. When you scroll through the playlist, it makes a clicking noise. The first time Hannah heard it, she said "Mouse!" So sometimes she calls my iPod a "phone" or a "mouse". Sometimes she just says "squeak!"

She also thinks there are bubbles in my egg shakers. Egg shakers are like maracas. They loved the ones they played with in music class so much that I bought a few for home. Hannah gave it a shake one day, looked at me and said very seriously "Bubbles." I guess she thinks the noise is made by little bubbles inside? I don't know. It makes perfect sense to her!

So cute. The only one I don't get is the salt shaker/bubble machine. Where did she get that from?

Oh the egg shakers are from music class. They're like maracas. For some reason Hannah thinks that the noise is made from bubbles. It makes perfect sense to her!
