Down at the Farm

A day at the petting zoo.
There were goats and sheep...
and cows that go "moo".
Did I mention the sheep? They loved the baby sheep!
Now what could possibly be more fun than baby farm animals? A bucket of water of course! It was all I could do to keep Sophie from jumping in!
I also learned that pigs are scary. VERY scary. It's a good thing we saw this guy last. Sophie was terrified. She insisted I carry her through the rest of the park. I told her "Sophie, he's behind a gate. He's not going to get you. I promise. He cannot get out." Then the petting zoo employee saw a bunch of kids wanting to pet the pig and...let him out.
Hannah on the other hand marched right up and touched the pig. In fairness to Sophie, the pig was loud and well, kind of scary.

Sophie asked about the pig a few times while we were waiting for the train. The petting zoo was right next to the train stop.
Train ride.
Sophie kept her hand on Hannah's knee.
And sat on Mommy's lap.
Guess who got to ride in her very own airplane?
Two sisters, best friends.
And finally, what the heck is this thing and why do my kids think they can climb it?!

What a great day you had. I like the picture of the girls with sunglasses.

Natalia is very scared of Jimmy (the bird) because he makes very loud noises. Even when he's gone, she keeps talking about Jimmy. Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, no Jimmy. Hopefully she'll get past it. All the others did.
