Craig went back to work today and this time he was gone for (almost) a full day. Of course this was the day Sophie chose to have a blow out in her bouncy seat.
The day got off to a busy start because both of them wanted to eat at the same time. So I put them in their bouncy seats and gave them their bottles. I had just finished burping them and was hoping they'd take a little nap. Next thing I know I hear what I thought was Sophie passing gas. I didn't think anything of it because when I looked over at her she seemed perfectly fine. But then I picked her up and saw...POOP! Poop coming out of her diaper, poop on her clothes, poop on the bouncy seat. It was such a huge blow out that I had to give her a quick wash at the bathroom sink. You can only do so much with wipes. I had finally got her all nice and clean and was carrying her over to the towel rack when she peed all over me.
The funny thing is it wasn't until several hours after my daughter peed all over me that I realized that I hadn't taken a shower or even changed my clothes. And another hour after that before the planets aligned and I was actually able to.
Oh and poor Hannah wanted to be held all day.
