Whose baby is this and what did they do with Hannah?!

One day she's Miss Serious Crabby Pants and the next she's Little Miss Sunshine! Hannah used to be my inquisitive, serious girl. But she's turned into quite the little charmer. A real silly girl. She smiles all the time and giggles. She loves to lay back on my lap looking up and me and kicking her little feet. She also makes her little happy noise. If I were to describe it I would say it sounds like she's imitating static on the TV. But it's the sound she makes when she's very content. It's the funniest thing. She makes it when she's playing with her toys or when I'm changing her diaper and she's in a good mood.

She is also in constant motion. She rolls all over the place. She rolls over to take whatever Sophie is playing with, she rolls on top of Sophie, she rolls across the room. She's a rolling maniac.

Even when she's not rolling, she's wiggling, kicking, grabbing...

It used to be that almost every picture I took of Sophie was blurry. Now it's Hannah too. I have a lot of blurry pictures of my babies:

This is what I found when I got to the store the other day. Hannah had managed to pull the sun shade off the back of the car seat. Don't ask me how. She seemed so proud of herself too!

I do love when the trees are frosty like this. Beautiful. I just wish it wasn't negative 1 degree outside!

Tummy Time!

I have been trying to get Hannah to spend more than 5 seconds on her tummy since practically the day she was born. She cries, she screams, she flips right over and screams some more. I guess she just had to do it on her own terms. Now she is all over the place. When I change her diaper she: tries to roll on her stomach, rolls over to chew on the changing pad, grabs the blinds, or kicks the lotion by her feet. It's quite an ordeal!

Hannah used to be my little drama queen but she smiles all the time now. Everything is funny and gets a big laugh. It's so darn cute.

Daddy's Home

Craig had to go out of town for a week. It was a loooong week. But he's back for the weekend which means two good days of sleep for me!
Hey Mom look...it's Daddy!

Hi Dad.Making up for lost snuggle time. Did you know that it's hard work eating big girl food? Sophie is exhausted.

She would open her mouth even while she was falling asleep to try to get more sweet potatoes. Nothing's cuter than a baby trying to eat while falling asleep.

And I have to watch them like a hawk from now on. I put them at opposite ends of the crib and turned my back long enough to put their dirty clothes in the washer, which took all of 3 minutes, and came back to this:

Take a close look...Hannah has a good grip on Sophie's ear.

And forget about getting closeups. They want to grab everything in sight. Thank goodness they don't crawl just yet because I will be in big trouble when that finally happens.

Once again they started at separate corners of the mat.

Hannah is also really good at taking things from Sophie. Binkys, toys, you name it. She just happens to be better at rolling over to reach for things and picking them up with her hands. And Sophie doesn't stand a chance despite the fact that she has a good two pounds on Hannah.
