Yesterday Hannah was sitting in a cardboard box (their toy du jour) and Sophie wanted to get in with her. Hannah did not feel like sharing her space. Sophie climbed in anyway and the next thing I know she's crying. And she has teeth marks on her had. I had to give Hannah a time out until she could calm down enough to tell Sophie she was sorry. She finally decided to go and give Sophie a kiss to make up. She walked over to where Sophie was sitting leaned in...and saw that Sophie had her snack cup! Uh oh. Mt. Saint Hannah just erupted. Let's just say there was no apology or kiss.
It was a long day of time outs. I did see a tooth coming in on top so that could explain the bad mood and possibly the biting. Hannah has had the same six teeth for a long time so I'm glad she's finally starting to get more.
In other news Hannah is also starting to call Sophie by name. If I say "Where is Sophie?" or "Let's go find Sophie!" She will point to Sophie and say "Sooooo!" Hey, it's a start! She's starting to pick up a lot of words. She loves shoes and loves to point them out. Cheese is also big around here. Her latest is "light". Whenever she sees a lamp in a book she points to it and says "La!".
I also noticed that Sophie's eyes have turned green. It was very subtle and at first I couldn't tell if they were still blue and just looked green in different light. Now I'm pretty sure they're green. It's seems kind of late for her eye color to change.
Sophie and Hannah missed Daddy.
