I would like to take this moment to thank my husband for teaching the girls that it's okay to climb on the furniture...
From the time that they started to show an interest in climbing the chair and ottoman in the playroom, I firmly told them "No climbing!" And surprisingly they listened. Last week I was making dinner and Craig was playing with them when I heard "You did it!" "Good job!" "Good climbing!" Yup, Craig was not only allowing them to climb the furniture but was actually helping them...teaching them how to do it. But they were having such a moment that I didn't have the heart to break it up.
It wouldn't be so bad if they showed a little caution once they climb up. But Hannah gets so excited that she jumps around from the ottoman to the chair. And Sophie gets the climbing up part but has a hard time with climbing down. She just takes a step off like she's walking the plank. (She does this with stairs too.) Plus, her balance isn't as good as Hannah's so I'm forever catching her when she slips and takes a tumble.
So once again thank you Craig. I know in my heart that there will once again come a time when I can leave them in the playroom while I make dinner or go to the bathroom.
Upsy Daisy!
Belly button break!
Having a blast!
Dangerously close to the edge.
Hannah has the cutest curls. I've been trying to get a picture of them but it's hard with her bouncing all over the place. This is the best I could do.
I knew a little girl who had a little curl...
Playing catch the sprout!
