Defiance

The big thing around here is hitting the windows. At first they would use their hands and they were too small to do any damage. Now it's toys. So I decided it was time to teach them the word "no". Now when I say "no" and "don't hit the window" I get giggles and more hitting the window. So I say "I'm going to take that toy if you don't stop" to which they run away from me while holding onto the toy, squealing in delight.

Then today I went upstairs to change Hannah's diaper. It took maybe 2 minutes. When I came back down I saw Sophie had her leg stuck in a toy and for the life of me I can't figure out how she did it. They always seem to do these things when I'm not watching. It's like they're saying to themselves "Hmmm, I've always wanted to know what would happen if I stick my leg in the window of this doll house. I better try it now while Mom isn't watching."

And now for some not so flattering pictures of me with my girls. I'm wearing pajamas and have some serious bed head but I had to post them since I don't have many pictures of the three of us.
But I do love my Tina Fey glasses.

Nice to see pictures of you, you do look great. It's interesting that they run away when you say you're going to take the toy, because it means they understand what you are saying!! Can't wait to see you and those beautiful, precious, adorable girls - two days..!

Your pictures are great-- and I love your glasses, too! We are also dealing with defiance issues. Hadley just laughs when we tell her no. She has decided that "no" is this great game we play!
