Picture of the Week and an Update

Picture of the Week:
And the rest:
I can't think of anything sweeter than a sleeping baby. I love to peek in on them when they're sleeping. Sophie likes to spread out on her back with her arms up over her head. Hannah loves to sleep on her side and she always chews on her sleeve as she falls asleep. Neither one of them use a paci now. Hannah stopped using one a long time ago. Sophie just recently decided she wasn't interested. I used to hand her one every night and she would put it in her mouth. Now when I try to give her a paci she just looks at me like "What do you want me to do with that?"

We are still working on finger foods. I tried giving them a mesh feeder last week and they didn't want to have anything to do with it. This week was better.

After a lot of gesturing and pantomime on my part, Hannah finally figured it out.Sophie is still working on it.

She did discover that it's fun to bang it against the highchair (much to Mommy's dismay).

And we had a few warm days so we got to take a few walks and visit our favorite park.
Wash Park with Mom Mom and Pop Pop
(with our new sunhats!)

Hannah is also desperately trying to crawl. Right now she can roll wherever she wants to go. And she's really good at it. And fast. But now she wants to crawl. She can get on her hands and knees and rock back and forth. Sometimes she goes backwards and sometimes she can go a tiny bit forward. But mostly she just rocks back and forth. Sophie is able to go on her hands and knees but seems very content with just that for now. She's happy to have Mommy just bring the toys to her!:)

Hanging out with Soph and her favorite toy.

Oh my GOSH, they are too cute. Mine love to bang on their chairs with the mesh feeders also. Lots of fun as mushed banana goes flying :-) And can I just say, you look great!!

Too cute Lisa! Love the picture of the week! Those little feet sticking out are soooo sweet!! Mine never really got into the mesh feeders either the way they were intended but I used to put yogurt into ice cube trays and freeze it and then pop a cube into each feeder and give them those. They loved that and it helped with teething too!
