Sophie Talks

Well I haven't had a lot of time to blog.  Partly because we're living with my in-laws and I don't want to hog their computer.  Mostly because I have two very energetic babies.  But I did want to post this:
Sophie Talks

Okay, so only a parent (or grandparent) will think this video is adorable but Sophie is starting to find her voice.  Very cute but maybe not so much when she does it for 30 minutes straight at 3:00 am.

Baby Talk

For the past week the girls have been smiling at each other.  We put them together so they face each other and they start smiling.  They love it.  Sophie laughs and Hannah coos.  It's just too precious.

Are you ready for some football?!

Big game tonight...
Eagles VS Cowboys

We dressed the girls in their Eagles onesies again.  And took pictures of course.  Craig called me on the way home from work to make sure I put them in their outfits before the game started.
Hannah Cuteness
I know Sophie...mommy doesn't like football season either;)
Just kidding...she's fine!
AND NOW FOR THE UPSET OF THE NIGHT:

Craig went to change Sophie during a break.  He hadn't finished by the time the game came back on so he asked me to tell him what was happening.  It was a kick return.  I said "Okay the guy with the ball is running...he's running through the crowd...Oh...50, 40, 30, 20...Uh oh...touchdown." Craig missed it.  He was not happy.  Apparently touchdowns on kick returns don't happen all that often in football.

Then a few commercial breaks later he went to change Hannah.  The game came back on before he was done.  I was doing dishes but could see the TV so I joked "Oh no a field goal."  Haha. Craig was not falling for that.  Then I saw the two teams on the goal and a fumble.  Yep, the Cowboys fumbled on their goal line and the Eagles recovered for a touchdown.  Apparently that rarely happens as well.  And Craig missed it.  He was maaaad.  Hey, you think he would have learned his lesson with Sophie's diaper change!

3 Months

I'm a little late with their 3 month photos...they are almost 4 months now!  I took this picture right before we moved.  They were a little crabby that day.  It was really hot outside and our condo didn't have air conditioning.

Denver Girls

On the plane.  Don't let this picture fool you.  Hannah hardly slept during the flight.  That doesn't mean she cried the entire time.  Except for a few minutes after we boarded the plane, she was a dream.  She was an absolute giggle-butt.
But Sophie did sleep for most of the flight.  Of course the picture shows her wide awake.  She looks like she's thinking "What the heck is going on!"
Everything is better with a blankie.
Their new digs.  Hannah has a new boyfriend.  So long Toucan...hello Nemo.  She loves her Fisher Price aquarium.  She's practically hypnotized by it.  While she's watching it I say to her over and over "Haaannah...you will start sleeping through the niiight!"
Sophie is too tired from the flight to appreciate her new surroundings
Can you tell Mom Mom and Pop Pop are excited to see their grandbabies?
How about now?!

Sophie

For the longest time Sophie has been making this cute noise.  The best way to describe it is a hooting noise like an owl..."Oooo!"  It's so cute!  But she's doing it less and less.  I'm really going to miss it when she stops doing it entirely.

Tummy Time

The girls are getting so big so fast.  It seems like they do something new every day.

Hannah is talking up a storm.  She will watch us while we're talking to her and then start moving her mouth around until she figures it out.  She will talk and talk.  Her new discovery is a loud, high pitched screech.  Oy.  She loves to hear herself scream!  Sophie isn't as much of a talker but she loves to smile and giggle.

I've been trying to make sure they get their tummy time.  It's hard because they hate it so much.  Hannah cries as soon as I put her on her stomach until long after I pick her up.  In fact she hates it so much that today she rolled onto her back after only 3 minutes.  And she wouldn't stop crying no matter how long I held her.  Sophie doesn't like it but she recovers much faster.  I'm hoping they start getting used to it soon.  Believe me, tummy time is much harder on me than it is on them!

The good news is they are getting tons of attention from Mom Mom and Pop Pop.  More than I can ever give them on my own.  And I will have to post pictures of their new state of the art nursery;)

Buh Bye San Francisco!

Tomorrow we will be in Denver! I will be on a blogging hiatus for a little while. Wish me luck as we take the girls on their first airplane ride! I wish I had bought a box of ear plugs for the people sitting close to us just in case. Oh well. I've certainly paid my crying baby on an airplane dues.
