This is video of the babies right after they were born:
Craig's parents took this video. I think I was still in the recovery room at this point.
And then it was my turn:
Don't let the picture fool you...she hated it. She cried the entire time. It was awful. I don't know who felt worse by the time we were done, us or Sophie. I told Craig I didn't think I could handle another bath and yet there was still one more to go and this messy girl really needed it:
Hannah Elise
Hannah didn't mind it as much but we (sort of) knew what we were doing by then.
And because Hannah was breech the doctor also wants us to take Hannah in for an ultrasound on her legs to make sure she doesn't have any problems with her hips. The doctor assured us that this is standard for breech babies and just a precaution.
Holding Hannah Mom's weight by the way is 126 lbs down from 161lbs. I weighed myself at the pediatrician's office.
We used to think Sophie was going to be our high maintenance girl because she has such a flair for the drama. Everything is a big production with her. When you wake her up she has to stretch for a good 5 minutes: arching her back, stretching her legs and arms, rubbing her face. You know, just to let you know you woke her up. But she doesn't cry that much and loves to just lay on your chest and snuggle.
Daddy dressed the girls this morning:
