Happy Birthday Craig!

The cake which tasted just as good at 4 in the morning as it did the night before.

Craig's second favorite baby gift. Eagles onesies.
Just because we're having girls doesn't mean we can't support our favorite team. The girliest football onesies I could find. Who cares if they're not green and white.

Man Shower=Baby Shower-Games+Beer and Barbeque:)

I like to joke that Craig's co-workers threw him a "man shower" because it was an outdoor barbeque with beer. But all joking aside I thought it was really nice of them to have a party for us. We had a great time. It was a gorgeous day and it was nice to go somewhere other than Babies R Us for a change. I got to meet a lot of Craig's co-workers and their wives and girlfriends.

And the cake was delicious!

Some Non Baby News

Guess who got nominated for an Emmy.

The awards are announced at the end of May. Something tells me that I will be too busy to care whether I win or not.

Here Is The Story
The reporter Jeanette Pavini is wonderful and did a great job as always. This story won an Edward R Murrow award earlier this year.

Big Babies and Diapers

Great ultrasound. The babies weigh almost 4 lbs each! Baby A is 3 lbs 15 oz and Baby B is 3 lbs 13 oz. Suddenly I don't mind my 30 lb weight gain. I decided to celebrate the good news with a double chocolate chip frappucino (with whipped cream...like the clerk has to ask!). Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures. Baby A's head is down too low to get a good picture (typical) and Baby B had her back to us so we couldn't see her face. We did get to see Baby B practice breathing which was really cool. I didn't know they did that. And we saw someone's little foot which was the cutest thing ever.

Then yesterday we took our Basic Baby Care class. A long day but worth it since neither one of us has ever changed a diaper. Ever. Hard to believe considering I have 7 nieces and nephews! I have to say I did very well in the cloth diaper category. But then as Craig said there's isn't "a chance in hell" that we're doing cloth diapers. No offense to the cloth diaper moms but with two babies we're going for convenience. Here is a picture of Craig with his demo baby after learning how to put on a disposable diaper. He should be holding two!;)

A Big Milestone

I'm 30 weeks today! Even though I still have a long way to go it feels like I've reached a big milestone. To celebrate I decided to buy some cute little onsies for the girls. I happened to come across these while I was at the mall.
When I say "come across" I actually mean I shopped the baby section for an hour or so looking at cute sundresses and pants suits before I found them.

And a 30 week belly picture:

30 Weeks

Which leads me to my next topic. I've been thinking about getting a t-shirt that says "If you don't have anything nice to say...don't say anything at all". For example:

Male Co-worker: "Wow, Lisa! You're getting bigger by the minute!!"

Not very nice wouldn't you agree? There is however nothing wrong with a "Wow, Lisa. You look great. I can't believe you're carrying twins. I really admire you." I think it goes without saying that the guy who said this is in his 40's and not married.

It's not always about pink onesies and ruffles...

Craig got what might be one of the best gifts ever:
Craig's co-worker Aaron had them made. Craig swears these will be the first outfits the babies are going to wear at the hospital. (Thanks Aaron!)

Here is a little background:While he was out of town on business Craig managed to find what I'm guessing is the only Goldberg Bail Bonds in the country. Not a lot of Goldbergs in the bail bonds business if you know what I mean.
