Hannah and Sophie's East Coast Goodwill Tour

Craig and I brought the girls to the east coast to visit family last week. This was the first time my brother and sister got to see Sophie and Hannah. And I got to see my little cousin Tristen for the first time. I call this the Goodwill Ambassador tour because it was a lot of "meet and greet" and "photo ops". And it was absolutely exhuasting. But it was great seeing my family and Craig's family.

Shmatas

This all started with some crochet outfits Bubby made for the girls complete with hats. We dressed them up and took some pictures. They really took to the hats, especially Hannah. All day long she would put the hat on her head, then take it off, or hand it to me to put on her head. One day Sophie tried to steal the hat and when I said "No." she got upset and tried putting blanket on her head. I said "Do you want a hat?" Since I couldn't find the other crochet hat I grabbed a shirt and wrapped it around her head. She was thrilled. Now they both wear little "shmatas" on their heads.
